50 Cent's Beef Rap SheetThe Baby momma Drama & the Unphased, the Rapper's Most Recent Hits
50 Cent's beef machine has most recently moved on to T.I. and the mother of his only child, Shaniqua Tompkins. This time around, it seems 50 may have met his match.
50 Cent’s Beef With His “Baby Moms”50 Cent picked a worthy opponent when he decided to lock horns with his former girlfriend and mother of his child, Shaniqua Tompkins. Proving to be just as aggressive as her former beau, Tompkins has decided to fight back. The dispute with Tompkins kicked off when 50 tried to evict her from his Long Island mansion for failure to pay him $4,500 a month in rent. Tompkins filed suit claiming the rapper told her that he would she could stay in the house because he wanted her and their son to be safe. She went on to say that 50 also told her that he would eventually put all or part of the house in her name but failed to do that. That is when things got heated … literally. In the early morning hours of Friday, May 30, a massive fire claimed the rapper’s mansion. According to reports of the incident, Tompkins said she was upstairs when she heard something crash through a down stairs window. Shortly after that the house was engulfed in flames. Tompkins and five others, including the former couple’s son, narrowly escaped the blaze after an off duty police officer came to their aid. Immediately after leaving the hospital, Tompkins told reports, “He’s trying to kill me and his own child.” Although fire officials labeled the fire as suspicious and launched an investigation, 50, who was in Louisiana at the time filming a movie, vehemently denied any involvement. He did, however, file a multi-million dollar lawsuit against Tompkins for defamation. Tompkins fired back with a $50 million lawsuit for damages caused by the fire. 50 got a leg up on Tompkins a few weeks ago when a judge allowed him to take his son on vacation with him but this beef is still cooking too. 50 Cent’s Beef With T.I.Having attacked almost every relevant MC he felt he could dominate, 50 Cent turned his attention to Atlanta rapper T.I. But the tables have seemed to turn as T.I. separates himself from the pack as one of the only rappers to not really care. On the track “You So Tough” from the recently released “Terminate On Sight,” 50 took aim at him more lyrically diverse counterpart by dropping hints of his possible involvement with authorities. “Nowadays this rap sh*t ain’t adding up/How nigg*s get caught with 10 machine guns, only get 12 months/Oo-weee, don’t talk to me/If you talking to him, you talking to them/I got the best lawyers that money can buy/They say at best they woulda got me 10 or maybe 9/I said, how do you explain how the homie breezed/They said, you keep your mouth shut or you eat the cheese” 50 says on the track. Fans waited for T.I. to respond and there was nothing, not even a hint of aggression. T.I. stayed busy promoting his upcoming album, “Paper Trail,” and finishing up his court ordered community service. He even teamed up with The Hip Hop Caucus to promote voter registration. The question now becomes twofold: With so many more important things going on in the world, why the focus on phony rap beef? What ever happened to selling records just because you are a good rapper?
